Thanks for visiting my site. My name is Blake Simpson, aka Old Soul. I started hockey in 2019 at 8 years old. I've been a dedicated Nashville Jr. Prep player starting at Mites now a Bantam Minor. Playing AAA hockey is my full time hobby.

The nickname, Old Soul, came from my first hockey coach due to my "old soul like" behaviors and mannerisms. When I was 8, I was often chirped because I liked to get rest when traveling for hockey tournaments typically skipped the hotel shenanigans with my teammates. I had a tendency to keep my teammates in line and focus on maximizing practice time.

Coach would say, Old Soul is just an old soul and doesn't mess around."
